We're Ba-ack!

I never meant for the break to go on this long, but Quilty Giveaways is now back after a long (unscheduled) break. Running Quilty Giveaways took a lot more time than I had anticipated and my regular blog seems to have suffered because of it. I'm thinking about moving Quilty Giveaways over to my Petit Design Co. blog. I don't know what I was thinking but I don't have time to run 2 blogs (3 if you count my private family blog!)

Quilty Giveaways is set up on it's on page within the Petit Design Co. blog so you won't have to scroll through a bunch of posts in order to find the giveaways. We'll give this a try for a few months and we'll see how it goes. I'm open to any feedback/suggestions you all may have.

Just a heads up to let you know that I'm giving away 2 fq's of Heather Ross' hard to find, out of print Fish in Bags fabric over on my main blog.

I decided to take an unannounced break for the month of December. I haven't heard a peep from anyone so I'm considering whether it's worth my time and effort to keep this site going.

I love their Essential Pro polyester and use it when quilting on my Brother 1300 at high speeds.

It doesn't break as often as other threads and it doesn't produce as much lint. I've tried their Essential Cotton Threads too but they are thicker than the poly thread.

 I don't mind the cotton thread when I am quilting off the frame at slower speeds.
